The National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD), a 501(c)(3) organization, is a patient advocacy organization whose mission is dedicated to individuals with rare diseases and the organizations that serve them. Rare diseases impact 25-30 million Americans. Rare diseases can take 5-7 years to diagnose and less than 10% of them have an FDA-approved treatment.
To maintain programs like Running for Rare, we rely on the donations of individuals and organizations. Your donation will help offset the overhead costs associated with supporting the team and allow monies raised go to help NORD support undiagnosed patients through a variety of programs and services aimed at shortening the diagnostic odyssey.
